Blog Birth
We have finally joined the blogosphere: A world filled with some intellectuals, but mostly wannabe leaders who long to change the world one post at a time from the safety of their parent's basement in their StarWars pajamas instead of getting a real job. I must admit there are some days when that doesn't sound too bad. Well, not the living with my parents part. To be fair, I have learned many things about many things by reading other people's blogs and the idea of sharing our unedited opinion with the world wide web intrigued me.
The main reason for starting this blog was "a release", specifically a spiritual release. The Lord has show my sweet Bride and I so many things over the past few years in our marriage, parenting and especially in our ministry that we simply have alot to say about alot of things. So what better place than our own blog to be able to lay out our hopefully well thought out ideas and ruminations about everything without having to take a size twelve (or size 6) out of our mouths as we do so often in one on one conversations. Aubin and I sincerely hope, that though we are infant bloggers, that hearts would be challenged, moved and blessed through the sharing of words from our hearts.
We also hope that those that wish to join us would challenge us to move in our walks and in your own walks be blessings to others and especially to our Lord, Jesus Christ. Living in a media and information saturated era we knew there would come a time when the sharpening of brothers and sisters in Christ would also be done via the internet. Instead of sending prayer chain emails and conservative political agenda forwards that threaten the loss of blessing or in some cases the promise of curses if not sent to 11 people, we would prefer to give personal opinion that has been soaked in the Truth of a Biblical worldview and not quotes taken from Chicken Soup for the Soul. We encourage you to Read, Respond, Teach, Share, Respect and Love.
