Joshua 24:14-15
"Now fear the LORD and serve Him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods of your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."
1. Do I fear God? Put in context, the Israelites were to fear that God would bring about all the plagues from Egypt on them if they did not serve Him faithfully. So again, do I fear God?
2. How can I ensure that I am serving the Lord with ALL faithfulness? What does that look like?
3. What "gods" did I worship in my past?
4. Have I allowed any "gods" to remain in my life from my past?
5. What steps must I take to "throw away" the gods from my past to become wholly devoted to the Lord?
6. Do I daily choose, and decide, to serve God?
7. What authority has God given me as the leader of my family to make a declaration as Joshua did that he AND his household will serve the LORD?
